Developers of Newport Beach and Golf, an emerging 1,800-acre resort community on Texas’ Mustang Island, have reported that the Arnold Palmer Signature Course located within the resort has opened in September 2008. The 18-hole layout, named Newport Dunes, is part of the first phase of construction at the coastal destination, which will ultimately bring residential villages, multiple hotels, a marina, tennis and beach clubs, two golf courses and additional premium amenities to Mustang Island, located on the south end of Port Aransas.
